The Food Service Director role at Elior Collegiate Dining is a dynamic leadership position that combines operational management with team development and customer service excellence. This role requires a motivated individual capable of managing all facets of the food service department to ensure consistent delivery of quality meals to customers. Key responsibilities include supervising and leading a diverse team of food service associates, orchestrating hiring and training processes, and ensuring strict adherence to culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for budgeting duties related to departmental expenses, including ingredient procurement and monitoring financial performance to meet targets and forecasts. Job Duties
- Managing all functions of the food service department and its resources
- Manage and lead a team of associates, including hiring and training new employees

- Budgeting for the department, including directly purchasing ingredients and ensuring the account meets all targets and forecasts
- Conferring with the district manager or other departments regarding the technical and administrative aspects of dining service
