Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 4 years of experience in food service
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in management
  • Previous experience in food service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
  • Occasional lifting carrying pushing pulling up to 50 lb
  • Ability to stand for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in food service
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in a management role
  • Previous experience in food service
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service using Aramark’s standard model
  • Ability to maintain effective working relationships with other departments
  • Ability to lift carry push and pull up to 50 lb occasionally

Job Duties

  • Lead mentor engage and develop teams to maximize contributions including recruiting assessing training coaching and managing performance
  • Ensure food services connect to the Executional Framework
  • Coach employees creating shared understanding of goals and execution
  • Reward and recognize employees
  • Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
  • Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
  • Adopt Aramark process and systems
  • Build revenue and manage budget including cost controls for food beverage and labor
  • Complete and maintain P&L statements
  • Achieve food and labor targets
  • Manage resources ensuring quality and cost control within budget
  • Implement and maintain Aramark agenda for labor and food initiatives
  • Create value through efficient operations cost controls and profit management
  • Comply with Operational Excellence fundamentals including food and labor
  • Direct and oversee production distribution and food service operations
  • Maintain safe healthy environment for clients customers and employees
  • Comply with all policies rules and regulations including safety health wage and hour
  • Establish and maintain systems for ordering receiving storing preparing and serving food products and menu planning
  • Develop operational forecasts and explain variances
  • Ensure sanitation and safety requirements met
  • Coordinate and supervise unit personnel on production merchandising quality cost control labor management and employee training
  • Recruit hire develop and retain front line team
  • Conduct inventory
  • Maintain records for Aramark government and accrediting agency standards
  • Interact with client management and maintain effective client and customer relations
  • Participate in sales process and contract negotiations
  • Identify opportunities to implement new products and services supporting sales growth and client retention
  • Manage front of house dining operation including cafeteria residential dining facility
  • Develop and implement food service plans aligned with client mission vision and sustainable practices
