Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of food service management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Healthcare food service experience required
- Self starter with ability to work with minimal supervision
- Experience managing, motivating and engaging a large workforce
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Excellent interpersonal, customer services and organizational skills

Job Duties
- Participate in planning and executing consistent nutrition and patient communications and strategies and serve as a nutrition/patient resource across a multi-site component or highly complex healthcare facility
- Create and manage a network of thought leaders to support nutrition issues and strategies across the component
- Manage and control resources and materials to ensure quality, adequacy of supply, and cost control within budgetary guidelines
- Directs patient food service activities, complying with established standards including the patient feeding program and delivery of trays to patient units
- Leads patient service managers, supervisors and staff to ensure meals are properly prepared and delivered to patients
- Owns the 'Adopt a Floor' program and ensures rounding is conducted on patients/departments
- Oversees the diet office and the service ambassador program
- Records safety and sanitation compliance
