The Food Service Director position at Aramark is a comprehensive management role responsible for planning, organizing, and executing dining solutions tailored to meet diverse customer needs and preferences. This position oversees and manages all dining operations where customers order prepared foods from a menu. The Food Service Director is also responsible for managing budgets, controlling costs related to food, labor, and beverage, and ensuring the completion and analysis of profit and loss statements. This position follows Aramark’s processes and systems to meet operational goals and execute food and labor initiatives efficiently.
Compliance with safety, sanitation, and health regulations is a critical aspect of the role. The Food Service Director establishes and maintains systems and procedures for ordering, receiving, storing, preparing, and serving food products while ensuring adherence to all relevant industry standards and government requirements. The director supervises personnel concerning production, merchandising, quality, cost control, and labor management. Additionally, this role involves conducting inventories, maintaining records required by Aramark and accrediting agencies, and identifying new product or service opportunities to support sales growth.

Job Requirements

- direct and oversee operations related to production, distribution and food service

- establish and maintain systems and procedures for the ordering, receiving, storing, preparing and serving of food related products, as well as menu planning and development
