Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years working in reception-style setting, long-term care setting, or similar facility
- Must have weekend and holiday availability
- Physical ability to stand and sit for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred

Job Duties
- Prepare meals for patients and prep items for later service
- Attend to appearance, quality, and proper portioning of all menu items
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, including equipment, dishwashing, kitchen/storage areas, refrigeration/freezer spaces, and dining areas
- Adhere to FDA, USDA, State, and County safe food handling procedures
- Maintain proper documentation of temperatures, meal counts, and production sheets
- Project a positive attitude and exemplary customer service when interacting with employees, visitors, and patients
- Clearly and effectively communicate with coworkers, patients, and residents
- Demonstrate the ability to work and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Follow a four-week cycle menu and assist with seasonal modifications
- Manage daily kitchen operations
- Ensure patients receive meals that meet appropriate dietary needs
- Coordinate weekly menus
- Oversee staff and scheduling to provide quality meals three times per day
- Manage food ordering and inventory control within the approved budget
- Produce and serve food items for residents
- Collaborate with the Food Service Director to ensure all duties are performed effectively
