The Cook will follow daily work schedules, manage kitchen duties such as food pre-preparation, production, service, and cleanup, and operate food service equipment safely. Participation in ongoing state-approved training related to school food service is expected to ensure continuous improvement and compliance with best practices.

Responsibilities also include customer service excellence when interacting with students, parents, and staff, adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations including HACCP standards, and assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies.
