Job Requirements

- prior experience in a cooking role
- food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- knowledge of food handling and sanitation
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- physical ability to perform kitchen tasks
- commitment to maintaining safety standards

Job Duties
- cook and prepare food items according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- organize work area with necessary equipment and ingredients
- measure, weigh, mix, chop, trim, and peel food items as part of preparation
- handle utensils such as knives safely
- operate kitchen machinery including ovens and mixers
- apply various cooking methods such as baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming
- establish, garnish, and portion food items as specified
- adhere to food safety protocols and proper storage
- sterilize and clean workspaces, equipment, and tools
- provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive demeanor
- comply with Aramark's safety policies and food sanitation measures
- protect company property
