The Senior Operations Manager role within GCE is pivotal in supporting the Project Manager by overseeing back-of-the-house (BOH) food service operations at federal worksite locations. The Senior Operations Manager is responsible for adherence to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and other contractual requirements governing food service operations, guaranteeing compliance and quality delivery. Compensation for this salaried position ranges from $70,896.00 to $82,290.00 annually, reflecting the specialized skill set and level of responsibility required. The role involves physical demands, including regular bending, crouching, walking, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, and lifting up to 40 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Work is primarily conducted indoors, yet the Senior Operations Manager may travel between various sites and buildings, sometimes under varying weather conditions. The position also requires adherence to safety protocols such as Emergency Operations Work Assignments and proper handling of cleaning chemicals. A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and insurability under company policy are essential, alongside the ability to pass state and federal background checks.
