The Food Service Associate role is vital to the success of OnCue's fresh food kitchen operations. Reporting directly to the OnCue Kitchen Manager, individuals in this position will perform essential food preparation and service tasks with a focus on maintaining quality, safety, and consistent customer satisfaction. The role requires employees to prepare and serve food items in accordance with established Company standards, which cover areas such as recipe adherence, portioning, wholesome presentation, merchandising, and overall food quality. Food safety and compliance with County, State, and Federal health codes are paramount, ensuring that all customers receive products that meet stringent standards.
This position is well suited for those who thrive in a fast-paced food service environment and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team. Associates must demonstrate an ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, assist in managing food inventory and cost controls, and maintain organized and sanitary work areas. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service preferred
- Ability to stand continuously and perform repetitive arm/hand movements throughout shift
- Capacity for frequent walking
- Ability to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or work overhead
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Consistently prepare and serve food according to OnCue's standards including recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards
- Provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Adhere to the work schedule as posted unless arranged with the Kitchen Manager
- Flexibility to cover shifts as needed
- Operate all kitchen equipment and devices safely and according to guidelines
- Act with integrity, honesty, and promote company culture and values
- Maintain food quality and safety standards
- Assist in controlling and maintaining food inventory and costs through purchases, pricing and waste control
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety codes
- Keep work and service area safe, sanitary and orderly
- Work or assist at fry station or grill
- Maintain positive working relationships with team members and management
- Perform other duties as assigned
