Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Food Handler Certification or Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment
- Ability to work part-time hours, between 12 and 19 hours per week
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Ability to follow cash handling policies
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards
- Willingness to contribute to a diverse and inclusive workplace
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years related experience
- Experience in a high-volume customer facing environment preferred
- Experience in a high-volume retail environment with knowledge of merchandising and selling concepts preferred
- Food Handler Certification or Food Handler Card required within 30 days of employment
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to food safety and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Prepare and maintain IKEA Food menu items according to the IKEA Food concept
- Respond to customer inquiries and support informed purchases
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently adhering to cash handling policies
- Maintain equipment operation through adherence to guidelines and preventive maintenance
- Maintain a clean supply of dishes, silverware, cooking utensils, and trays compliant with Food Safety Standards
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of dining and play areas
- Manage the Swedish Food Market including merchandising, pricing, stock rotation, cleaning, and sanitization
- Ensure accurate and timely price communication across all food solutions
- Maintain supply rotation and stocking adhering to FIFO, expiration dates, and sustainability standards
- Implement IKEA Food policies for goods receiving and monthly inventory
- Adhere to safe food handling, workplace safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations
- Contribute to a diverse and inclusive work environment
