The role of a Food Service Associate at Meriwether Godsey is a part-time position offering 25-30 hours per week, with scheduled shifts from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented, and high-energy environments and who are passionate about delivering superior customer service in the context of food service. Job Duties

Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals while handling exchanges in a quick, efficient manner
transport food and supplies to the cafeteria
assist in the set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of the cafeteria, food serving, and beverage areas
serve and replenish food from food counters and steam tables
assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly store food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage
keep dining room areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized
clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods
maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of another kitchen area by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments
inspect workstations for compliance with service standards
participate in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments
