This particular role is for a Food Service Assistant Manager position which offers an exciting opportunity for experienced food service leaders passionate about driving sales and leading by example. Starting pay ranges between $17.25 and $18.25 an hour, this position requires a dynamic individual who can effectively execute Jacksons fast-food program while maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service. The Assistant Manager leads the fast-food team, delivering exceptional dining experiences through engaging customer interactions and motivating team members. Key responsibilities include monitoring sales data, adjusting inventory and food prep levels to meet fluctuating business demands, training fast-food employees, managing ordering processes, and maintaining equipment functionality. This leadership role is integral to boosting fast-food sales and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-moving environment. The position also encourages continuous improvement by leveraging key performance indicators and team communication to identify opportunities and celebrate successes. Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability to support business needs for a 24/7 operation including holidays and weekends
  • A Food Handlers Permit as required by county, city, or state
  • Willingness and passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Previous experience in the food service industry preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly can-do attitude
  • Ability to read and analyze basic spreadsheets
  • Proven leadership skills demonstrating leading by example and integrity
  • Strong teamwork ability
  • Quick thinking and adaptability in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Welcome every customer with a smile, thanking them for their business, and inviting them back
  • Complete all food ordering for the store
  • Maintain appropriate levels of prep items and food, checking/adjusting daily
  • Teach and train Fast Food Team Members in all food service, deli, and beverage promotions and programs and manage training for all fast-food employees
  • Actively sample fast food, deli, and beverage products to drive sales and offer bounce back coupons when needed
  • Ensure Fast Food equipment is clean and in proper working condition and report any maintenance or issues to the store manager
  • Review KPI Dashboard on a weekly basis and communicate success and opportunities with team
  • Complete waste sheets and temperature log daily and ensure all food hold times are upheld
  • Ensure proper sanitation and food handling/prep/storage/disposal procedures are followed
  • Participate in store meetings and present food related material as required
  • Additional duties as assigned
