Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Works quickly, efficiently and accurately when performing all duties including trayline, use of chemicals, trash handling
- Works in a timely manner to ensure timeliness and punctuality of trayline, deliveries and cafeteria openings
- Stores and handles food and dishes in a safe and sanitary manner in accordance with health regulations
- Prepares assigned food items correctly
- Cashier - operates cash register and ensures charges are accurate
- Answers telephone politely and takes detailed messages accurately
- Keeps work area and equipment clean, following all departmental and equipment guidelines and using correct procedures
- Communicates essential information to others, such as the cafeteria menu line and telephone messages in a timely manner
- Demonstrates teamwork and the spirit of cooperation at all times
- Volunteers to assist others
- Willingly accepts any other assignment that may be requested
- Cashier - accurately handles cash
- Maintains accurate and timely inventory within assigned responsibility
- Utilizes hospital resources and time respectfully and accountably
- Manages time efficiently and is always contributing while on the job
