The Food Server position at the poolside restaurant within The Venetian Resort presents a dynamic opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service. This role is essential to the resort’s food and beverage operations, providing guests with timely and professional food service in a pleasant poolside setting. The Food Server is responsible for accurately taking and delivering food orders while maintaining a friendly and attentive demeanor. Job Requirements
- 21 years of age
- Proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the United States
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Alcohol Awareness Card, Health Card or any other certification or license as required by law or policy
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Food Server in a luxury environment or similar experience
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English both spoken and written
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and other team members of different backgrounds and levels of experience
- Must be able to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Food Server in a luxury environment or similar

Job Duties
- Takes food orders and serves the food to guests
- Ensures guest's needs are met by checking back with the table frequently
- Maintains excellent cash handling skills
- Demonstrates detailed food and menu knowledge
- Exhibits bar, cocktail, liquor, beer, and wine knowledge
- Prepares espresso, coffee, and beverages
- Ensures all areas are kept clean
- Provides service or assistance to meet guest needs
- Complies with department policies and procedures to complete service satisfactorily
- Utilizes physical and mental dexterity to accomplish tasks
- Expedites clerical processing, performs service, evaluates information, and acts based on information to complete tasks
