As a Food Server, you will be the face of Hilton’s exceptional dining culture, responsible for greeting guests warmly, taking and delivering orders accurately, and attending to any guest requests with promptness and professionalism. Your thorough knowledge of the menu along with restaurant promotions and specials will help you confidently assist guests in making informed choices that enhance their meals. You will also uphold all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol serving regulations to promote a safe and pleasant dining environment.
Your day-to-day duties will include managing the food service station to ensure it is well-stocked, clean, and organized, thus enabling smooth dining operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate clearly and politely
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcoholic beverages
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Willingness to follow health and safety guidelines
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Customer service orientation
- Basic math and point-of-sale system proficiency
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials
- Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
- Serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations
- Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times
