Within this distinguished establishment, the Food Server role at Paloma Restaurant offers a unique opportunity to engage with members and guests in a fine dining environment. Paloma is the newest dining destination at the club and is well known for its polished, fast-paced yet inviting atmosphere. As a Food Server, you will go beyond merely taking orders; you will act as a storyteller and guide, helping to elevate the dining experience through genuine hospitality. This role involves greeting guests warmly, learning their names and preferences, and personalizing every interaction, thus embodying the club's mission of promoting excellent dining and social experiences.
The server is expected to master the full menu, including beverages and an extensive wine list, demonstrating strong knowledge and confidence in their recommendations. They will execute service with precision, coordinating seamlessly with kitchen and service teams to ensure timing and flow of courses meet the highest standards. Servers maintain their sections in a polished, efficient, and organized manner, consistently offering an elevated and seamless experience. Job Requirements
- At least 2 years of restaurant or dining service experience
- Food Handler Safety Certification
- TABC Certification
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Able to bend, stretch, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in warm, busy, and noisy environments
