Job Requirements

2-3 years of prior food server experience
Must possess a valid SNHD health card
Common knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices preferred
Effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner
Must present a neat and professional appearance
Work requires professional interactions with customers, co-workers and management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Work requires professional teamwork with other co-workers

Job Qualifications

2-3 years of prior food server experience
Possess a valid SNHD health card

Job Duties

Arrive at work on time, fully dressed, clean, and prepared with all proper work cards, credentials and uniform
Prepare the restaurant for daily service and alert management of any maintenance issues or missing product
Passionately inform guests about Martha Stewart, her history, and current business endeavors
Perform all opening, closing and side duties required of a food server position
Greet guests using the 10’/5’ rule and engage guests in cheerful, genuine conversation
Deliver the proper steps of service in the correct sequence
Take beverage orders and services in a timely manner
Ensure food order is correct before serving to the guests
Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests’ needs
Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal
Accurately post all transactions on the POS terminal giving correct change
accounts for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedure
maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
Prepare all food and drink to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines and guest specifications
Understand and execute artisanal coffee beverage program
Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant before, during, and after the shift
Maintain appropriate level of stock items in area alerting the manager of any missing or limited product, including but not limited to, food, supply, and retail
Keep designated working area clean and organized
Engage with guests professionally and genuinely by maintaining a cheerful conversation and delivering the service that is required of them
Depart the restaurant on time and having completed all the designated functions for the day
