The Server role at Maroon is vital in delivering the venue's mission by ensuring impeccable service that reflects the ethos of hospitality and community. The Server acts as a knowledgeable guide through the culinary journey, offering personalized food and beverage recommendations, including detailed insights into the wine and spirit selections. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- must have at least two years experience as a server in a fine dining environment
- must have ability to obtain Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card and Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card
- must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- must be able to handle cash transactions accurately
- regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- At least two years experience as a server in fine dining service preferred
- wine and spirit knowledge certificates
- must be at least 21 years of age or older
- ability to obtain valid Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card and Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card
- knowledge of food presentation ingredients and preparation
- ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale systems
- exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
- highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- polished professional friendly dynamic and able to multitask
- ability to take initiative in VIP driven and guest service focused environment
Job Duties
- Be all about the team

- prepare tables for service
- act as the food and cocktail tour guide making personal recommendations
- possess thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu to answer guest questions
- serve food wine and beverages
- oversee all aspects of table service
- provide direct service to guests by taking orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- deliver guest requests in a timely fashion
- maintain clear and reset table setups
- input all orders into the POS system accurately
- ensure work area complies with health codes
- handle cash quickly and accurately
- upsell products
- perform proper cash comp and check control procedures
- perform opening running and closing side work
- keep all stations stocked by polishing and distributing china glassware and silverware
