Tao Group Hospitality is a renowned leader in the luxury lifestyle and hospitality industry, known for delivering distinctive culinary and premium entertainment experiences. The company operates a diverse portfolio of acclaimed restaurants, nightclubs, lounges, and daylife venues across the globe. Among its widely recognized brands are TAO, OMNIA, Marquee, LAVO, Beauty & Essex, Cathédrale, Little Sister, The Highlight Room, Sake No Hana, KOMA, Avenue, Fleur Room, JEWEL, and many more. Tao Group Hospitality is part of Mohari Hospitality, an investment firm dedicated to the luxury lifestyle and hospitality sectors. With over 25 years of experience, Tao Group Hospitality continuously redefines the hospitality industry by combining innovation and creativity to deliver unforgettable guest experiences.
The Food Server role at Tao Group Hospitality is essential in creating a memorable dining experience for guests. This position pays $12 per hour plus tips and is instrumental in actively taking orders, providing full and complete food and beverage service, and monitoring guests’ dining experiences with attentiveness and professionalism. As a Food Server, you will be expected to interact courteously with guests, fellow team members, and supervisors to ensure the highest level of gracious hospitality. The role involves anticipating guest needs, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area, and offering knowledgeable recommendations about menu items.
Food Servers must be adept at accurately entering orders into the POS system, following proper cash and payment card procedures, and ensuring timely delivery of food and beverages. A strong understanding of all food, beverage menus, and company policies, including compliance with state alcohol regulations and health department sanitation standards, is required. The position demands teamwork, effective communication, and the ability to support co-workers while representing the positive professional image of Tao Group Hospitality.
In addition to direct guest service, Food Servers are responsible for opening and closing floor procedures, such as setting tables correctly, wiping down furniture, stocking stations, and reporting damages. They must attend daily pre-service meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay current with standards and practices. Physical stamina is important for this role, as it entails standing, bending, lifting, and working in sometimes noisy and fast-paced environments such as restaurants, nightclubs, bars, and lounges.
This role is suited for individuals who have prior hospitality experience, especially in high-volume establishments like nightclubs, lounges, or busy restaurants. It requires a positive attitude, the ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Tao Group Hospitality fosters an environment where learning by example, teamwork, and guest-focused service practices are paramount. If you are passionate about hospitality and dedicated to providing exceptional service, this Food Server position offers an exciting opportunity to grow within a globally recognized hospitality brand.
