The Food Server role at Aramark supports the food service manager by engaging in multiple aspects of food preparation, meal distribution, and kitchen operations. This position is critical in ensuring that the kitchen meets food production, sanitation, and safety standards. The Food Server is responsible for preparing high-quality meals and baked goods based on a set menu, managing food storage properly to preserve flavor and nutrients, and distributing meals to diners according to schedules and policies.

Additionally, this role involves maintaining detailed daily updates to authenticate transactions and meals served, coordinating with management on the day's menu, and ensuring that food preparation tools are handled and maintained safely. The Food Server also contributes to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, sanitizing kitchen surfaces and tools regularly, and managing waste to comply with hygiene standards.

The job requires adhering strictly to food safety legislation, including proper food handling, storage protocols, sanitation procedures, and wearing the appropriate uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE). Physical demands of the role include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing.

Candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent and food service certification are preferred, along with the ability to interpret and track instructions effectively.
