Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- Store food accurately to preserve its flavor and nutrients
- Distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
- Operate and look after food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
- Ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
- Enhance the visual appeal of culinary creations by incorporating garnishes
- Help with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- Abide by all legislation concerning food safety, sanitation procedures, appropriate food handling practices, and storage guidelines
- Adhere to the compulsory uniform policy requirements
- Liaise daily with the manager to understand and execute the day’s menu
- Ensure food items are kept at optimal temperatures for safety
- Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- Regularly sanitize workspaces such as steam tables, surfaces, and tools
- Complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dish washing
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
- Complete supplementary tasks including backing up operations in different kitchen zones
