The Food Server role at Aramark is an essential position that supports food service operations by engaging in food and meal preparation, managing cash receipts, and meticulously updating meal records. This role assists in completing daily reports and ensures that the kitchen complies with food production, sanitation, and safety standards. The Food Server is responsible for producing high-quality meals and baked goods from the set menu, verifying the completeness of meals, and distributing them according to the prescribed schedules and policies. Attention to detail is crucial, as the server must understand meal components, maintain food storage standards to preserve nutritional value and flavor, and monitor food temperatures to adhere to safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Prior experience in food service or related field advantageous
  • Food service certification
  • Availability to work flexible hours

  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Commitment to wearing personal protective equipment when required

Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • Check for the presence of all necessary meal components
  • Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • Distribute meals to diners according to prescribed meal schedules and policies
  • Operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
  • Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
  • Enhance meal presentation through garnishing
  • Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • Adhere to food safety legislation, including sanitation procedures and proper food handling
  • Follow uniform policy requirements
  • Coordinate daily with the manager on menu execution
  • Monitor food temperatures for safety
  • Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • Sanitize workspaces such as steam tables, surfaces, and tools
  • Complete general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Maintain cleanliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
  • Support operations in different kitchen zones as needed
