- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing time efficiently
- Knowledge of food industry terminology and serving techniques enhances overall performance
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and inventory management are essential
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, highlighting specials and upselling menu items to enhance their experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Serve food and drinks professionally, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and safety protocols
- Manage guest relations by addressing requests promptly, resolving concerns, and providing personalized service
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold sanitation standards
- Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage seating arrangements efficiently and optimize guest flow
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while ensuring proper math calculations
