Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
  • excellent customer service skills
  • ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • basic math skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
  • excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse clientele
  • ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
  • basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy
  • knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
  • previous experience in host or hostess roles or food industry positions is advantageous
  • culinary experience or kitchen background is beneficial but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
  • take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS
  • upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
  • serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
  • manage guest inquiries, resolve concerns promptly, and ensure a positive dining experience
  • assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas according to sanitation standards
  • use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage bookings and optimize seating arrangements
