The Food Server role at Aramark is essential in supporting kitchen and dining operations to ensure a seamless food service experience. This position involves hands-on participation in meal preparation, adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, and accurate management of meal records and cash transactions. Working closely with the kitchen manager, the Food Server helps in maintaining daily operational reports, ensuring meals are prepared and served according to the set menus and schedules. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently under pressure, and a commitment to hygiene and safety protocols. The Food Server will also contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including assisting with the sanitation of equipment and proper storage of food items to maintain optimal freshness and quality.

Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
- distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
- operate and maintain food preparation tools especially cutting tools
- ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
- enhance the visual appeal of culinary creations by incorporating garnishes
- assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- abide by food safety legislation including sanitation procedures and proper food handling
- adhere to uniform policy requirements
- liaise daily with the manager to understand and execute the menu
- monitor food temperatures to maintain safety
- keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- sanitize workspaces regularly to prevent contamination
- complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- maintain cleanliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
- perform supplementary tasks including backing up operations in other kitchen zones
