Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • food service certification
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • capacity to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing
  • adherence to uniform and PPE standards
  • commitment to food safety and sanitation practices

  • satisfactory education or training enabling interpretation, writing, and tracking of verbal and written instructions
  • ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • preferred high school diploma or similar certification

Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
  • store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
  • operate and maintain food preparation tools especially cutting tools
  • ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
  • enhance the visual appeal of culinary creations by incorporating garnishes
  • assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • abide by food safety legislation including sanitation procedures and proper food handling
  • adhere to uniform policy requirements
  • liaise daily with the manager to understand and execute the menu
  • monitor food temperatures to maintain safety
  • keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • sanitize workspaces regularly to prevent contamination
  • complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • maintain cleanliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
  • perform supplementary tasks including backing up operations in other kitchen zones
