Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service certification required
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for extended periods
- Capacity to follow food safety and sanitation standards
- Must wear personal protective equipment when required
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with team members and management

- Ability to perform effectively under pressure with speed and accuracy

Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
- Distribute meals to diners according to prescribed schedules and policies
- Operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
- Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
- Garnish food to enhance visual appeal and customer satisfaction
- Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- Abide by food safety legislation including sanitation and handling procedures
- Adhere to uniform policy requirements
- Liaise daily with manager to understand and execute the day’s menu
- Monitor food temperatures for safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- Sanitize workspaces such as steam tables, surfaces, and tools
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Manage waste and keep garbage areas and kitchen floors clean
- Complete supplementary tasks and back up operations in different kitchen zones as needed
