Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food service certification
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • Satisfactory education or training to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to observe uniform standards and wear personal protective equipment as required

Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • Check for all necessary meal components
  • Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • Distribute meals according to prescribed schedules and policies
  • Operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
  • Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
  • Garnish meals to enhance visual appeal
  • Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • Abide by food safety legislation including sanitation, handling, and storage
  • Adhere to uniform policy requirements
  • Coordinate daily menu with manager
  • Monitor food temperature for safety
  • Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • Regularly sanitize workspaces and tools to prevent contamination
  • Complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Manage waste collection sites and kitchen floor cleanliness
  • Perform supplementary tasks such as backing up other kitchen zones as needed
