Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- Check for all necessary meal components
- Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
- Distribute meals according to prescribed schedules and policies
- Operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
- Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
- Garnish meals to enhance visual appeal
- Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- Abide by food safety legislation including sanitation, handling, and storage
- Adhere to uniform policy requirements
- Coordinate daily menu with manager
- Monitor food temperature for safety
- Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- Regularly sanitize workspaces and tools to prevent contamination
- Complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Manage waste collection sites and kitchen floor cleanliness
- Perform supplementary tasks such as backing up other kitchen zones as needed
