Job Requirements
- a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- food service certification is required
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods
- adherence to uniform and personal protective equipment policies
- satisfactory education or training to understand and document verbal and written instructions
- ability to work under pressure and maintain accuracy
- willingness to comply with food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties
- produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- store food accurately to preserve its flavor and nutrients
- distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
- operate and maintain food preparation tools safely
- ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
- enhance the visual appeal of dishes by incorporating garnishes
- assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- abide by all food safety legislation including sanitation procedures and storage guidelines
- adhere to the uniform policy requirements
- liaise daily with the manager to execute the day’s menu appropriately
- monitor food temperatures regularly
- maintain cleanliness and organization of work and storage areas
- sanitize workspaces and equipment regularly
- complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning dishes
- manage waste and maintain cleanliness at garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
- perform additional tasks as needed including supporting operations in different kitchen zones
