We are currently seeking dedicated Food Servers to join our team. As a Food Server at Aramark, you will play a vital role in supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. This position involves preparing meals and baked goods according to predetermined menus, overseeing meal distribution, accurately maintaining meal records, and assisting in cash receipt monitoring. Food servers at Aramark are responsible for meeting the company’s stringent food production, sanitation, and safety standards to ensure that every meal served meets customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Your role will involve a variety of food preparation tasks such as producing top-tier meals, operating and maintaining food preparation tools safely, garnishing plates to enhance visual appeal, and expediting the preparation process to deliver meals promptly. You will play a crucial role in food storage, ensuring that ingredients are stored correctly to maintain freshness and nutritional value. Collaborating closely with the kitchen manager daily will be essential to align on the day’s menu and meal schedules. You will also help maintain a clean and organized workspace, including assisting with refrigerator, freezer, and kitchen sanitation tasks, as well as general cleaning duties like sweeping and mopping.
Physical stamina and the ability to comply with safety regulations, including uniform and personal protective equipment policies, are key aspects of this role. Food Servers should be prepared for physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing and walking.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or similar certification preferred
- Food service certification
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, walking, and standing for extended periods
- Commitment to wearing required personal protective equipment and adhering to uniform standards
- Knowledge of food safety legislation and sanitation procedures
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with management
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in workspace
Job Qualifications
- Food service certification
- Satisfactory education or training enabling interpretation, writing, and tracking of verbal and written guidance
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
- Distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
- Operate and maintain food preparation tools safely, especially cutting tools
- Ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
- Garnish culinary creations to enhance visual appeal and customer satisfaction
- Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- Abide by all legislation concerning food safety, including sanitation procedures and proper food handling
- Adhere to uniform policy requirements
- Liaise daily with the manager to understand and execute the day’s menu
- Monitor food temperatures to ensure safety
- Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- Regularly sanitize workspaces such as steam tables, surfaces, and tools
- Complete general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
- Maintain cleanliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
- Perform supplementary tasks as needed, including backing up operations in different kitchen zones
