- High school diploma or similar certification preferred
- food service certification required
- ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods

Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
- distribute meals to diners adhering to prescribed schedules and policies
- operate and care for food preparation tools especially cutting tools
- ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
- enhance visual appeal of dishes by garnishing
- help with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- abide by legislation concerning food safety including sanitation, handling, and storage
- adhere to uniform policy requirements
- liaise daily with the manager regarding the day’s menu
- monitor food temperatures to maintain safety
- keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- regularly sanitize workspaces and tools
- complete cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
- manage waste collection and maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors
- perform supplementary tasks including backing up operations in different kitchen zones
