The Food Server position at Aramark plays a vital role within the food service team, supporting managers and contributing to the efficient operation of meal preparation and delivery. This role requires individuals who are keen on maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and sanitation, while actively engaging in daily operations such as updating meal records and assisting with report completion. Food Servers are essential in ensuring that food items are prepared according to predetermined menus and served accurately and on time to diners. The position demands physical stamina as it involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of standing and walking. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • food service certification
  • ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods

  • ability to interpret and follow verbal and written instructions
  • capacity to work under pressure and maintain accuracy

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
  • store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed meal schedules and policies
  • operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
  • ensure efficient and timely assembly of various food items and beverages
  • enhance the visual appeal of culinary creations by incorporating garnishes
  • assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • abide by all food safety legislation including sanitation, handling, and storage guidelines
  • adhere to uniform policy requirements
  • coordinate daily with the manager to understand and execute the day’s menu
  • monitor food temperature consistently for safety
  • keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • regularly sanitize workspaces such as steam tables, surfaces, and tools
  • complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • manage waste to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of garbage collection sites and kitchen floors
  • perform supplementary tasks including backing up operations in different kitchen zones
