Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings
  • Familiarity with POS systems and basic cash handling
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments
  • Strong knowledge of POS systems for order processing and cashiering
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
  • Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
  • Familiarity with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and basic math for cash handling and transactions
  • Previous host or hostess experience or food industry background is highly desirable

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems, ensuring quick and efficient processing
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures
  • Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
