The role of the Food Server at Aramark involves supporting the kitchen manager and the broader team by engaging in numerous tasks centered around meal preparation, food safety, and overall kitchen operations. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that the highest standards of food production, sanitation, and safety are consistently maintained. Serving as a vital link between kitchen operations and diners, the Food Server is responsible for producing and distributing high-quality meals and baked goods according to detailed menus, carefully checking meal components to ensure completeness, and monitoring food storage to preserve flavor and nutrients.
Further responsibilities extend to compiling daily reports that authenticate transactions and meal records whilst assisting in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including refrigeration units and other food preparation areas. The Food Server must be proficient in the use and upkeep of various food preparation tools, especially cutting instruments, to guarantee safety and efficiency.
This role demands physical stamina, as it involves lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing or walking for extended periods. The Food Server must adhere strictly to uniform policies and consistently wear required personal protective equipment when necessary. In addition to these physical demands, the position requires a good understanding of food safety legislation, including sanitation procedures, proper food handling practices, and storage guidelines, all of which are critical to preventing contamination and ensuring the wellbeing of diners.

Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- Compile daily updates to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- Check for the presence of all necessary meal components

- Distribute meals according to prescribed schedules and policies
- Operate and maintain food preparation tools safely
- Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
- Enhance culinary creations with garnishes
- Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
