The role of Food Server at Aramark is vital in supporting the smooth operation of food services. Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
  • Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • Distribute meals to diners according to prescribed meal schedules and policies
  • Operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
  • Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
  • Enhance culinary creations by incorporating garnishes
  • Assist with cleaning of refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • Adhere to food safety legislation including sanitation, handling, and storage guidelines
  • Follow uniform policy requirements
  • Liaise daily with the manager to understand and execute the day's menu
  • Monitor and maintain optimal food temperatures
  • Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • Sanitize workspaces regularly to prevent contamination
  • Complete general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing
  • Manage waste collection sites and kitchen floor cleanliness
  • Perform supplementary tasks including backing up operations in different kitchen zones
