Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Food service certification
- Ability to work under physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for long periods
- Observance of uniform standards and use of personal protective equipment
- Effective communication skills to follow instructions
- Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices
- Capability to uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area
Job Qualifications
- Food service certification
- Satisfactory education or training to interpret, write, and track verbal and written instructions
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
- Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
- Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
- Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
- Distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed schedules and policies
- Operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
- Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
- Enhance meal presentation with garnishing
- Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
- Adhere to food safety legislation including sanitation, handling, and storage
- Follow uniform policy requirements
- Coordinate daily menu execution with the manager
- Monitor and maintain optimal food temperatures
- Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
- Sanitize workspaces regularly
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
- Manage waste and ensure cleanliness of garbage collection sites
- Complete supplementary tasks as needed, supporting other kitchen zones
