Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Food service certification
  • Ability to work under physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, and standing for long periods
  • Observance of uniform standards and use of personal protective equipment
  • Effective communication skills to follow instructions
  • Commitment to food safety and sanitation practices
  • Capability to uphold cleanliness and organization in the work area

Job Qualifications

  • Food service certification
  • Satisfactory education or training to interpret, write, and track verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Produce top-tier meals and baked goods following a predetermined menu
  • Compile a daily update to authenticate transactions and record meal arrangements
  • Understand what constitutes a complete meal and check for the presence of all necessary components
  • Store food accurately to preserve flavor and nutrients
  • Distribute meals to diners in accordance with prescribed schedules and policies
  • Operate and maintain food preparation tools, especially cutting tools
  • Ensure efficient and timely assembly of food items and beverages
  • Enhance meal presentation with garnishing
  • Assist with cleaning refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen facilities
  • Adhere to food safety legislation including sanitation, handling, and storage
  • Follow uniform policy requirements
  • Coordinate daily menu execution with the manager
  • Monitor and maintain optimal food temperatures
  • Keep work and storage areas clean and organized
  • Sanitize workspaces regularly
  • Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
  • Manage waste and ensure cleanliness of garbage collection sites
  • Complete supplementary tasks as needed, supporting other kitchen zones
