We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities include assisting with food preparation, serving customers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately, and maintaining stringent sanitation standards throughout the facility. The Food Service Worker will also operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable to ensure smooth order processing and payment handling. Additional duties involve upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales, collaborating closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders, and supporting front-of-house functions including bussing tables and assisting with guest seating.   • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
  • Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards is required
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when necessary

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and safety standards
  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and payment transactions
  • Assist with upselling menu items to enhance guest experiences and increase sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including dining rooms, kitchens, and food preparation areas
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling policies
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
  • Buss tables efficiently to maintain a clean dining environment for guests
  • Support host/host duties as needed, welcoming guests and managing seating arrangements
