The Food Safety Supervisor role at Legends Global is a critical position responsible for ensuring that all food operations are executed safely and adhere strictly to the HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plan. This position plays a pivotal role in representing Legends Global during County Health Department visits at various events, acting as the primary liaison and ensuring all health standards are met and maintained. The role demands a keen eye for detail and proactive management of food safety protocols before and during concerts to prevent any health violations.
This full-time position offers a competitive pay range of $24 to $26 per hour and requires an individual who is highly organized, communicative, and capable of managing a team in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. The Food Safety Supervisor’s responsibilities include rigorous inspections of all food stands prior to events, verifying that temperature logs are properly posted and maintained on refrigeration and hot holding stations, ensuring all necessary production logs are accessible to cooks, and confirming that essential tools and safety supplies such as thermometers, gloves, soap, and hand towels are readily available.
During the events, the Food Safety Supervisor will work closely with County Health Officials who perform onsite evaluations and walkthroughs. The supervisor will accompany these officials, promptly addressing any violations and continuously monitoring the venue to maintain compliance. The role also involves maintaining an ongoing awareness of potential health risks throughout the event duration, requiring mobility and stamina to move throughout various stations and environments.
Candidates for this role should have prior experience in the food and beverage industry and familiarity with health department protocols. Strong communication skills are essential, as well as a proven track record in management or supervisory roles. ServSafe certification is mandatory to ensure a thorough understanding of food safety principles and practices. Physical requirements include the ability to stand and move quickly for extended periods, frequently lift and carry heavy items up to 45 pounds, and adapt to varying temperature environments from warm workstations to cool storage areas.

Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for entire shift
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry food and other items weighing up to 45 pounds and occasionally greater
- Must be able to go from warm to cold climates
- Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays
- Follow and encourage team to follow all safety policies and procedures
- Complete company-wide safety training and job-specific safety training
- Report all safety incidents into company risk management system on same day

Job Duties
- Inspect all food stands prior to shows to identify and resolve potential health violations
- Ensure temperature logs are posted on refrigeration and hot holding stations
- Verify all necessary production logs are available for cooks
- Confirm availability of thermometers, small wares, gloves, and other supplies for cook staff
- Stock hand towel dispensers and soap dispensers
