As a company deeply committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, we continuously strive to support our employees with comprehensive benefits that begin from day one for full-time colleagues, reflecting our dedication to their well-being and success.

The role of a Food Safety Specialist is a critical position within our organization focused on partnering with clients from the hotel, restaurant, and grocery sectors to uphold superior brand standards, ensure exceptional food quality, and deliver outstanding customer service. This role involves comprehensive food safety assessments, coaching, training, and corrective action planning to maintain compliance with regulatory and proprietary requirements. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food safety and quality assurance, eager to promote healthy, safe environments for clients and their customers. This position requires a flexible schedule, including potential evening and weekend work, and involves significant travel commitments of 50 to 70 percent, generally 8 to 10 days per month. As a Food Safety Specialist, you will conduct thorough audits and inspections of food preparation and service areas, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation regulations. You will observe food prep and cooking practices firsthand, verifying conformity to mandated safety standards. Beyond inspections, you will actively engage with clients, identify root causes of discrepancies, and collaborate on effective corrective action plans. Teaching and coaching clients on safety and health best practices form a vital part of your responsibilities, helping to cultivate safer workplaces and improved customer experiences. This role demands excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and advise with tact, and strong organizational abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently. Candidates with a strong technical background in food safety, certifications such as CP-FS or ServSafe, and a keen eye for detail will thrive in this position. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the food service industry while benefiting from a supportive, rewarding work environment where your expertise and dedication are valued.
