As a proud member of the Rentokil family of companies, this organization has built a legacy of excellence by committing to protecting people, enhancing lives, and preserving the planet. Known for being a trusted partner to many of the world's leading brands, Rentokil combines innovation with robust, customer-focused practices to deliver outstanding service and ensure safety standards are met across various environments.

The Food Safety Specialist role within Rentokil is designed to support clients in hotels, restaurants, and grocery industries by upholding stringent brand standards and ensuring exceptional food quality. This full-time position requires a professional who is passionate about food safety, eager to provide customer-focused service, and motivated to improve operational practices in food preparation and handling. This role is critical in enhancing the overall guest experience by ensuring environments meet established regulatory, industry, and proprietary brand safety standards through comprehensive assessments, training, and audits.

Food Safety Specialists will conduct thorough audits and inspections to measure conformity to regulations and help identify discrepancies. They will observe food preparation processes to ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation standards while partnering with clients to develop corrective action plans. These specialists also play a crucial teaching and coaching role by educating clients on how to create safer workplaces and healthier environments for both staff and customers.

This position requires flexibility, with the necessity to travel approximately 50-70% of the time, which equates to about 8-10 days per month, including some evenings and weekends. Candidates must be capable of working autonomously, managing time effectively, and providing constructive feedback in a positive and tactful manner. Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work based on urgency and efficiency are essential. While strong technical knowledge of food safety is preferred, training opportunities are available to help candidates develop the necessary expertise.

By joining Rentokil, employees will become part of a world-class team that values high performance and promotes professional growth from within. The company offers competitive pay with performance incentives and a comprehensive benefits package starting from day one for full-time colleagues, underscoring their commitment to employee health, well-being, and work-life balance. Rentokil emphasizes a drug-free workplace and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, reinforcing its dedication to legal and ethical business practices.
