Transit Valley Country Club is a distinguished private member-owned facility located in the picturesque suburbs of Buffalo, New York. Established in August 1921, the Club has grown from humble beginnings into one of the finest golf courses in New York State. Recently, Transit Valley underwent a comprehensive multi-phase renovation completed in April 2021. This extensive upgrade included a brand-new kitchen, a specialized pizza bump-out featuring a pizza oven, renovated lobby restrooms, and a fully updated women’s locker room. Phase two of the renovation introduced a new indoor/outdoor bar seating 25 guests, two state-of-the-art golf simulators with an accompanying lounge area, an inviting patio with a fire pit, and upgrades to both casual and formal dining rooms. The Men’s locker was also renovated to include a bar and card room, enhancing social spaces throughout the Club.
Transit Valley Country Club continues to seek energetic, hard-working, and hospitable professionals to join its service team on a part-time basis. The role is pivotal in maintaining the exceptional level of customer service that defines the Club. Serving as a crucial liaison between the kitchen and dining guests, team members are expected to deliver food orders promptly and accurately, communicate effectively between front-of-house and back-of-house staff, and attend to special dietary requests and guest inquiries with care and professionalism.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous part-time or full-time experience in food service preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to follow health and safety regulations

- Prior experience in a restaurant or club service role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
- Act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
- Communicate food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests
- Remove dirty dishes and utensils
- Answer guests’ questions about ingredients and menu items
- Inform restaurant staff about customers’ feedback or requests
