The Room Service Attendant will be entrusted with tasks such as memorizing menu items and prices, preparing the dining area according to guest preferences, and ensuring timely food and beverage delivery. Setting up scheduled coffee service promptly by 6:00 AM illustrates the hotel's dedication to guest convenience and satisfaction. The role also involves verifying wine orders with guests by presenting, corking, and seeking their approval before serving. The employee will monitor meal completion times rigorously and maintain open communication with guests if there are any delays, showcasing a commitment to impeccable guest service.
Beyond serving guests, the attendant must maintain cleanliness and organization of stations, manage silverware, linens, and vases effectively, and demonstrate proficiency in ticketing, cash handling, order presentation, and organization. This position requires exceptional multitasking skills in a dynamic environment, alongside the ability to learn and communicate product, menu, and allergy information confidently to guests. Flexibility is key, as the role demands availability during mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends, reflecting the hospitality industry's operational needs.

Prior experience in a similar or supportive hospitality role is preferred, along with certifications such as Food Handler and Alcohol Awareness, where applicable. Salary for this position ranges from the lowest to highest pay scale, reflecting various factors including education, qualifications, experience, and performance metrics. Job Duties
- Provide guests with quality customer service by demonstrating excellent food and beverage knowledge
- serve guests food and beverages in their room in a timely and professional manner
- memorize current menu items and prices including wine list and vintages
- set up scheduled coffee service each morning by 6:00am
- review orders upon arrival and prepare the correct amount of silverware, linens, and vases
- check orders for presentation and completeness and place in the cart for delivery with water and beverages added last
- monitor meal completion time and update guests if delivery is delayed
- prepare and set up the dining area according to guest preferences
- verify wine orders with guests and present, cork, and offer for approval
- be familiar with ticketing and cash handling, check presentation and organization
- ensure that stations are properly cleaned, stocked, and organized
