Known for combining dining with entertainment, Main Event offers a unique experience where guests can enjoy everything from bowling and arcade games to laser tag and karaoke, all under one roof. As a leader in the entertainment industry, Main Event prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service, a fun workplace culture, and growth opportunities for team members. With locations across the United States, Main Event focuses on creating memorable moments through interactive and inclusive experiences, making it a top destination for family outings, celebrations, and casual gatherings.

At Main Event, the Food Runner position is a vital role that ensures guests receive their food promptly and presented in an appealing way that enhances their overall dining and entertainment experience. Food Runners act as the link between the kitchen and the guests, working efficiently to deliver a variety of menu items while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest interaction. This hourly position, paying between $10.10 and $12.00 per hour, offers employees a chance to be part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment where delivering excellent service is paramount.

The Food Runner’s daily responsibilities include upholding strict cleanliness and safety protocols to comply with health and safety guidelines, ensuring all service stations are fully stocked and ready to support both guests and serving staff. A key part of the role involves warmly welcoming guests, embodying the brand’s commitment to fun and engagement, and delivering food and drinks with attention to timeliness and presentation. In addition to delivering orders, Food Runners assist servers by pre-bussing tables and clearing dishes, supporting a smooth and efficient dining flow. The role also demands flexibility, as Food Runners may perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties, calling for a dependable and adaptable team member.

Candidates for this position should have a guest-focused mindset, valuing teamwork and collaboration to help create a memorable and fun environment. Certification in Food Handlers and Alcohol is required as applicable, coupled with comfort working in a high-energy, fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills are essential for interacting effectively with management, team members, and guests. Availability for shifts during days, nights, and weekends is necessary, underscoring the varied nature of the entertainment and dining business.

Main Event offers a range of attractive benefits to its Food Runners, including a vibrant and inclusive workplace culture that rewards performance and encourages personal and professional growth. Employees enjoy significant discounts on food, beverages, activities, and unlimited gameplay, enabling them to experience the full spectrum of Main Event’s offerings. Additional perks include a tuition reimbursement program, internal promotion opportunities, participation in new center openings, a comprehensive rewards and recognition program, and benefits with paid time off for eligible staff. A unique support resource, the Family Fund, assists team members financially during difficult times. For those who excel, the chance to become a Certified Trainer is available, providing a pathway to leadership and skill advancement within the company.

Main Event Entertainment is committed to diversity and inclusion and proudly operates as an Equal Opportunity Employer. The company also participates in E-Verify where mandated, ensuring compliance with employment verification laws.
