Job Requirements
- previous experience as a food runner
- relevant experience in a fine dining a la carte restaurant
- experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment
- ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in english
- physical ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods
- ability to work various shifts and flexible hours
Job Qualifications
- previous experience as a food runner setting up various work stations
- relevant experience in a fine dining a la carte restaurant
- experience in a fast paced, upscale, high volume environment
- ability to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in english
- knowledge of spirits, beer, wine and non-alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- sets up stations, performs side work and other opening and closing procedures as directed by supervisor, which could include helping other employees in their assigned tasks
- tenders all checks to cash, credit, comp, room charge or coupon for guests, when applicable
- actively interacts with guest, sells, up-sells, orders food and beverage items
- delivers the highest level of service to all guests according to bar americain service standards
- keeps assigned section at optimal conditions regarding cleanliness, sanitation and organization
- maintains all equipment including glassware, plate ware, flatware and beverage products
