The role of Food Runner at Montage International offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and guest service to join a respected luxury brand. With a competitive hourly wage of $17.90, the Food Runner plays a vital role in the smooth operation of our food and beverage service by supporting the culinary and service teams. This position demands a blend of efficiency, knowledge of menu items, and the ability to deliver meals accurately and courteously to guests. The Food Runner contributes directly to executing seamless service, ensuring timely delivery of food orders and assisting with setup and cleanup tasks.

In addition to hands-on service duties, the Food Runner acts as a key part of the guest experience, engaging with customers to enhance satisfaction and create WOW moments. The role includes responsibilities such as food preparation support, bussing tables, maintaining equipment, and assisting with overall service readiness. Job Duties

  • Stocks and organizes food service areas in preparation of service
  • assist with food preparation tasks such as garnishing plates and assembling orders as needed
  • work efficiently under pressure especially during busy periods to ensure timely delivery of orders
  • primarily assist food and beverage and culinary team with food orders
  • have full knowledge of the menu and cooking preparations
  • deliver food to table accurately while identifying and describing each plate
  • assist with bussing tables or setting up tables when necessary
  • clean up equipment tools and supplies and maintain equipment in good working order
  • deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments
  • perform additional duties as assigned outside the normal scope based on business needs
