Job Description

Set on 22 acres in the picturesque town of Calistoga, Solage, Auberge Collection is a distinguished luxury resort that perfectly marries small-town charm with sophisticated, contemporary design. This vibrant retreat offers a fresh and elevated approach to wine country hospitality, providing guests with spacious accommodations that exude comfort and style. Featuring 100 newly renovated, free-standing studios and suites, each with private patios, the resort ensures a serene and private experience. Guests also enjoy complimentary cruiser bikes that allow easy exploration of the charming downtown area, enriching their stay with local flavor and adventure.

At the core of Solage is Spa Solage, a 20,000-square-foot wellness destination renowned for its geothermal pools, signature mud therapies, and invigorating daily fitness classes. This spa reflects the resort’s commitment to holistic well-being, seamlessly integrating relaxation and rejuvenation into the guest experience. Dining at Solage embodies the essence of California’s wine country, with options such as Solbar, which features vibrant, seasonal cuisine highlighting regional ingredients, and Picobar, offering Latin-inspired dishes and craft cocktails in a lively poolside setting.

Joining the Solage team means becoming part of an exceptional guest-service culture within a prestigious hospitality brand known for meticulous attention to detail, guest satisfaction, and a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. As a Food Runner / Expeditor at Solage, Auberge Collection, you will be entrusted with a vital role in enhancing the guest dining experience by ensuring that food orders are delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully to each guest's table. This position is essential in bridging communication between the back of house and front of house teams, orchestrating the smooth flow of orders and helping maintain the overall service quality for which the resort is celebrated.

The Food Runner / Expeditor position demands exceptional organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive approach to service. Responsibilities include ensuring orders are prioritized and completed on time, assisting servers and bartenders to foster seamless operations, and engaging with guests to ensure their satisfaction and a personalized experience. The role also involves maintaining cleanliness and organization in the expediting area and adhering strictly to food safety standards, including serving food at the proper temperature.

This position offers a starting pay rate of $17.90 per hour plus tips, with individual compensation decisions based on experience and education. Employment is within a luxury resort context, synonymous with top-tier service and an environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. Candidates should expect a dynamic work atmosphere that balances a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with opportunities for professional growth and development within the Auberge Collection portfolio. Joining Solage means becoming part of a brand that values tradition, innovation, and the unique character of its local surroundings, aiming to create not just stays but extraordinary experiences for its guests.
