The Food Runner role at Snooze is essential to maintaining the seamless flow of service from kitchen to table. As a Food Runner, you will be the vital link between the kitchen and our guests, ensuring that every dish is delivered promptly and presented with care and flair. You will be responsible for familiarizing yourself with our House of Hospitality (HOH) Standards, which include portion sizes, cooking methods, and presentation protocols to guarantee a consistent and delightful experience for every guest. Your responsibilities will also involve preparing and stocking food stations, properly handling food items, and supporting kitchen operations during opening and closing procedures.

Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the US
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for up to 9 hours
- Six months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
- Obtain all county required food and alcohol serving certifications prior to employment
- Commitment to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety guidelines within the restaurant
Job Qualifications
- At least 6 months experience in a high-volume restaurant setting preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of food handling and safety standards
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 9 hours)
- At least 18 years of age
- Authorized to work in the US
- Food and alcohol serving certifications as required by local county prior to employment
Job Duties
- Deliver the perfect plate in a timely manner while connecting with guests and ensuring they have everything they need
- Garnish each plate according to Snooze Food Doctrine
- Know and adhere to Snooze HOH Standards including portion sizes, cooking methods, recipes, and quality standards
- Prepare, stock, and maintain sufficient food products in stations to ensure smooth service
- Follow proper plate presentation and garnish setup for all dishes
- Handle, store, and rotate all products properly
- Close the House of Hospitality properly and follow opening and closing checklists for kitchen stations
