As a Food Runner with Marcus Theatres, you will join a dedicated service team that plays a critical role in enhancing the overall guest experience. The Food Runner is responsible for supporting kitchen associates, servers, and management by ensuring smooth communication and timely food delivery to guests. Your role will involve preparing garnishes, assembling trays, polishing silverware, and maintaining cleanliness and presentation standards for food and drink service areas. Additionally, you will assist with guest requests and help facilitate a seamless dining experience that complements the entertainment value of visiting Marcus Theatres. Job Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
must be at least 18 years of age
ability to lift moderately heavy items
willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
strong interpersonal skills
must comply with uniform and grooming standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in food service or hospitality helpful but not required
strong communication skills
ability to work well in a team environment
customer service-oriented attitude
ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

Set up all garnishes for dishes
assemble trays and stock bread
polish silverware
responsible for set-up and break-down of station at the beginning and end of shift
assist with special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction
communicate with servers and kitchen associates to ensure total guest satisfaction
serve food to tables if needed
assist with bussing duties if needed
remove all dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas
maintain standard of plate presentation
maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
perform other duties as assigned
