The Food Runner position at Marcus Theatres offers an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant service team dedicated to enhancing guest dining experiences within the movie theater setting. This role is essential in bridging communication between management, kitchen staff, servers, and customers, ensuring that food and beverage service runs smoothly and efficiently during busy hours. The Food Runner supports servers and kitchen staff by assisting in various service tasks, such as setting up garnishes, polishing silverware, assembling trays, delivering food, and maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining areas. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to work flexible or set schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
Must be able to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift moderately heavy items
Strong communication skills
Customer service oriented
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work collaboratively with team members
Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset

Job Duties

Set up all garnishes for dishes
Assemble trays and stock bread
Polish silverware
Responsible for set-up and break-down of station at the beginning and end of shift
Assist with special guest requests to ensure total guest satisfaction
Communicate with servers and kitchen associates to ensure total guest satisfaction
Serve food to tables if needed
Assist with bussing duties if needed
Remove all dirty dishes from kitchen and/or server areas
Maintain standard of plate presentation
Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area
Perform other duties as assigned
