The role of Food Runner at Oribu Restaurant is vital to the restaurant's efficient service flow and exceptional guest dining experience. This position entails delivering food items quickly and accurately between the restaurant floor and the kitchen, which is located on a lower level beneath the main dining area. The Food Runner will frequently navigate stairs, requiring good physical stamina and the ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights. Additionally, this role requires excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and servers, ensuring orders are delivered promptly and correctly.

This position is fast-paced and demands teamwork, flexibility, and dependability. Candidates must be willing to work various shifts throughout the week, including weekends and holidays, between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. The hourly wage starts at $22.69 with an increase to $25.47 after six months of service, reflecting the organization's commitment to rewarding dedication and performance.

  • Previous experience in a restaurant is preferred
