Job Description

Chili's, a distinguished casual dining restaurant chain established in Dallas, Texas, in 1975, has cemented its position as a favorite destination for those craving Big Mouth burgers, house-smoked ribs, vibrant fajitas, and hand-shaken margaritas. With nearly five decades of culinary excellence and commitment to guest satisfaction, Chili's prides itself on creating an inviting atmosphere where hospitality and quality food come together. The brand's dedication to service is evident not only in its menu offerings but also in its culture of giving back and creating memorable dining experiences for each guest.

At the Chili's located in Opry Mills, Nashville, our team is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Food Runners to join our vibrant restaurant environment. This role is essential in ensuring an outstanding guest experience by connecting guests with their food and maintaining high standards of hospitality throughout the dining process. Our Food Runners serve as a crucial link between the kitchen and the guests, serving meals promptly while also fostering a warm and welcoming atmosphere. They handle the fast-paced, high-volume environment with enthusiasm and possess the passion to grow quickly within the restaurant, often advancing to server roles with the right attitude and commitment.

The position offers flexibility with part-time or full-time schedules, making it suitable for students, professionals seeking supplemental income, or anyone passionate about the food service industry. Chili's supports career growth and provides opportunities for employees to advance within the company. Working at Chili's in Opry Mills means being part of a team culture that values collaboration, positive energy, and fun personalities—attributes that are as important as the ability to perform food-running duties effectively. The company encourages team members to bring their unique selves to work, helping guests feel special and appreciated.

In this role, the Food Runner focuses on providing hospitable and personalized service to guests, ensuring that every dining experience is seamless by removing dirty dishes, assisting servers, and maintaining clean and organized tables. Attention to detail, quick responsiveness in a busy dining room, and a genuine love for food and people are essential traits for success. Food Runners must also be flexible in work hours, including availability on weekends, weekdays, and holidays to meet the diverse needs of the restaurant. By partnering with servers and other team members, Food Runners play a significant role in achieving guest satisfaction and operational success.

Joining Chili's at Opry Mills means becoming a part of a renowned restaurant with a legacy of bringing people together through flavorful food and exceptional service. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in energetic environments, enjoy interacting with others, and seek meaningful work with room for advancement.
